Longtime Couchsurfer (member since 2010) based in Oakland. I’m active, curious, playful, and genuinely enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. After a parenting-focused hiatus, I’m happily reopening hosting as of January 2026.

I climb, lift, dance, camp, love food, and care deeply about music and community. I love live music and dance culture, including raves and shows, and dancing to a great DJ or band. When it’s an outdoor venue, I often bring my kid along and turn it into a tiny family adventure.

I’m a coparent to a great toddler, which means my life has structure and rhythms without a loss of personality. Home is calm, respectful, and full of laughter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because travel is better with real human connection. Couchsurfing has been one of my favorite ways to experience places beyond the tourist layer, both as a guest and a host. I value it as a reciprocal community, not just a place to sleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year WWOOFing solo across Central America, working on organic farms, traveling slowly, and building community wherever I landed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of rock climbing or bouldering, help someone learn to drive stick, and I’m always happy to cook together or trade recipes.

I love sharing music, good conversation, and the kind of everyday cultural exchange that happens naturally when people spend time together. I’m always learning too — especially languages (Spanish and French), new ways of moving my body, and how other people build community wherever they live.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a considerate, low-maintenance guest. I communicate clearly, respect house norms, keep shared spaces clean, and do not expect to be entertained.

Even though I enjoy nightlife and live music, I don’t bring the party home and am mindful about noise and shared space.
