Travelling is one of the greatest passions in my life and I hope to keep at it for the rest of my life! I have just returned back to Finland after spending past seven years in London. It is good to be back, at least for a while :)
I am currently still looking for a place to stay and crashing at a friends, so I can't host at this time, but I'd be happy to hang out.

I've only hosted once so far as my life got a bit busy in London, but hoping to start hosting here in Helsinki and couchsurfing in the future again as my experience has been positive.

I will hopefully be a science geek by the end of the year- I will then continue to do my Masters degree at Helsinki University. In Ecology and evolutionary biology.

I am gay. And happy to show the Helsinki gay scene to others as well. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films. Some of my favorites include Buffalo66, Napoleon Dynamite, Lost in Translation, Secretary, Old Boy, Kill Bill, Fight Club...Love the Evil Dead-trilogy and Japanese horror. Basically I watch almost anything really.

Authors: Haruki Murakami, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Herman Hesse, Audrey Niffenegger etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whilst holidaying at the Perhentian Islands in Malaysia- Sharks, turtles, jellyfish, giant ants, bats, monkeys. Amazing place!

Truly pink (sea shell) sand in Barbuda. So beautiful! And peacefull!

Travelling by cargo ship at the South Pasific seas for over 24 hours- I have never been so seasick in my life! :D
