Well, it's quite hard to describe yourself for an unknow crowd but I'll do my best!

I grew up in a small village in Nuuksio, near-by the capital Helsinki. It was an astonishing place to live, woods and a lake just behind the yard. Maybe that's why I always prefer nature than crowded places - especially when it comes to living.

All my life I've been doing some kind of arts. I started writing my own stories when I was a child, then I found theatre and wanted to become an actress. That didn't happen but in spring 2015 I got accepted to Theatre Academy of Finland to study dramaturgy. My current dream is to write my own theatre pieces and direct them to stage.

Nowadays I live in Helsinki and enjoy my life here. Now when I'm studying arts, I try to do something completely different on my spare time. I've always loved to work out (I played basket ball for 8 years) so usually I go the gym, running or dancing. I'm quite outgoing so I have a nice amount of friend to hang out with.

And what else? I think I'm in a good situation in my life. I have everything I need here in Finland but I still have the passion to go out and seek what else the world has to offer. And what I have to offer for the people I haven't yet met.

I can't wait!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is the most interesting and somehow honest way to get to know a new place and people.

I've travelled quite much and the best experiences I've had are the ones when I've met some local people who could really show authentic bits of their everyday life. For me travelling isn't only something special and exciting like "ahh let's leave our lives here and go somewhere to get some amazing memories!"

Travelling is more like visiting an unknown place, listening to it and really sensing the atmosphere. That's something you can't read on a tourist guide book.

I really hope that I'll find that kind of experience from Couchsurfing.

Music: Ohh maan, I have so many favorites. But for example this summer I've listened to Aphex Twin, Slowdive, The Smiths, Grimes, Menahan Street Band, Devendra Banhart, Ratatat, MGMT, Youth Lagoon, Lykke Li, Tensnake and Pink Floyd. And some Finnish love ballads!!

Movies: ....are very close to my heart! My favorites would be the movies by Ingmar Bergman

Books: Hmm.. This is a trickier question. I've read so many good ones and comparing them is impossible!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I worked as an actress in a Swedish TV show for kids. It's about a super hero gorilla who lives in the archipelago of Stockholm. I spent three months in a gorilla suit and got the Swedish kids traumatized.

I'm quite a good cook to be honest! I also love to bake! Cakes, muffins, you name it. I can also clean, bring some wine and tell you some good jokes I know.
