ABOUT ME

I'm a wanderer, and an artist. My missions in life are many and varied, as are my interests- but most of all, I would like to live my life happily, fully, while meeting and getting to know as many people as possible on the way.

PHILOSOPHY

I have various philosophical theories and ideas, which I'd be more than happy to talk about.
Most of all, I believe that the most important thing is to be flexible, while still following a goal. To change plans when necessary in order to get to that goal, and to learn and have a great time in the process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to Couch Surf. I don't have anywhere myself to live right now, but when I do, I will be more than happy to open my home up to others. I have couch surfed on my own with friends for over a year, and feel it is my duty to return that service to others, when I'm able to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was staying with a friend of mine last year, we ended up flooded in for a few weeks. On Easter 2010, we sailed in a slowly sinking boat across a road, into the pond that was flooding- all while bellowing pirate songs.

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead is probably my favorite band, I am not ashamed to admit it- I have very varied tastes aside from that, from music made with a Violin to music made with a synth, it just has to pull at me right.
I don't have any specific movies that are my favorite, but I have an appreciation for historical fiction or anything that really pulls you into the world that is created- anything that is beautifully directed.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are tons of little bits and pieces of knowledge stored in my brain that I'll usually just blurt out when I am reminded of them. I've had a lot of interesting experiences and because of that, I have a lot of stories that will also be revealed when I think of them.
I have various snippets of knowledge especially in terms of art and craft- I paint, I know a bit about photography, printmaking, and more. And I'm learning more every day.
I'm also an excellent cook when it comes to taking what I have and improvising, which is something I'm more than willing to share and teach as much as I can.
I'm sure there's more, but only time will tell.
