Overview
About Me
I value experiences a lot more since I started travelling - and I am seeking them proactively. Huge nature lover.
My "One Amazing Thing I've Done" section is the important part.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently started travelling around the world - quite the eye-opening experience - I wish I started doing it earlier... Couch surfing allows me to instantly meet open-minded locals who share the same mentality and can help me get up to speed with their place.
Unfortunately I won't be able to contribute back to CS by hosting in the near future since my landlords back at home wouldn't allow for it - but that will change once I get a place of my own - work in progress!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well here are a couple:
- Decided to quit my job and get my life in order at the age of 24 - spent almost 3 years living by myself, travelling, branching out of computer science and into much more important things - philosophy, music, politics, fitness, food - life in general.
- I recently went to a huge psychedelic trance festival called Ozora (in Hungary) - and it was the most amazing week I've spent in my life so far.
- I'm also about to go to Peru and do a ton of trekking, visit Machu Picchu, climb a 6k meters tall mountain and perhaps try some shaman brews :)
- My first trip outside of my country was in 2015 - I went to compete in a swimming marathon in Morocco alone - swam almost twice as slow as the fastest professional swimmers but managed to complete all 25 kilometers for the 4 days of swimming!
- I also made a successful open-source C++ project:
https://github.com/onqtam/doctest
I got the chance to visit the states for the first time to give a lecture about it:

But I no longer care that much about computer science - the problems of humanity are much more interesting to me now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to code - or at least the basics of it. I'm good at explaining things I know in an understandable way. I can also share my interests in philosophy :D
I'll also be coming straight after a trip to Peru where I'll be trekking all around (Machu Picchu, Salkantay trail, canyons, 6k peaks)
