About Me

CURRENT MISSION

making things work

ABOUT ME

I find myself to be nice! But regarding everything else I'm afraid to describe myself...

PHILOSOPHY

Getting old, finding my life to have been good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There are two rooms in my flat, one for me, one for my flatmates. Usually there is enough space (and enough of a matrace) for visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been to berlin (when I was still living in halle/Saale) where i met a great and interesting guy (peter auhagen)...my mainreason to surf his couch was something called 'summer school', which i joined there and it was reallyreally useful and comfortable to have some private place to sleep and someone who is there when you come home and wants to drink a glass of wine with you...
the second time i surfed some couch has been in marburg, where i met lära ... it was real fun even if there was not too much time, because i only stayed for 2 nights and over daytime ive been somewhere in this beautiful city of marburg!! its a really old and exciting place...great!
Another very good experience (there are, until today;) only good experiences!!) was staying at Bernd's...but further information is given in my commentarytext for him!
We have had only two times some couchsurfers here in halle which is because of sometimes no time and sometimes no requests:((

Interests

Most important is (historical) linguistics! When I dont do that, I like playing LoL, I like the BVB and I'm a volleyball-teammember.
But there are many different things I find to be interesting, except for sometimes being a little biased (cf. biophotones) – maybe it's just some kind of healthy scepticism...who knows.

Music, Movies, and Books

lots – recently bought 4 VHS's (MIB I+II, Roadtrip, Dude, where is my car?), but they're not representative ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

total eclipse in 1999

Teach, Learn, Share

Because i like my subject, i often talk about linguistics and stuff, which can be pretty interesting (REALLY!!!)
