I'm a fun, laid back and easy-going guy who is always looking to meet new people. I live in New York City for more than 15 years now. I know it very well and I'm often being told that I should show it around to visitors for a living. I know speakeasy places and hidden gems in this city and I love walking around and do street photography, find cool beers, watch films, discover new comedians and improvisers and listen to live music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best traveling experiences I ever had were staying with friends and locals at their habitat. Getting to know their favorite spots, their friends and their habits. That is the best way to learn about different cultures. It is also much more fun.

Films: The Big Lebowski, American Beauty, Clock Work Orange.

Music: Rock & Roll, Classic Rock, Pop - anything from Regina Spektor to Neil Young to Frank Ocean. Prince to Bowie to Jackson to MGMT. I also enjoy sometimes EDM.

Books: David Sedaris & John Irving (Owen Meany) are two of my favorites.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have canon DSLR and GoPro that I can share and teach. I also have editing software. I can guide you through the open-mic jungle in this crazy city if you are into music or comedy. We can make funny videos together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I travel with my DSLR camera and laptop always. Sometimes even more equipment. We can make cool stuff together. Videos, Short films, Photography and more. I'm open for collaborations.
