About Me

ABOUT ME

My best friend would say fun, organized, interesting, creative, reliable, honest, a little bit nuts, a little bit nerdy, an art lover, a talker, a listener and a curious mind.

PHILOSOPHY

"My advice is never take anything for granted. Every day is miraculous. Do not complain . One can never tell or understand why or how you were brought to this moment. I believe it was for a purpose. Perhaps it was only to pass life to the next generation. Maybe they will accomplish what I did not."
(Israel S. Ungar -my beloved Grandfather)

Interests

I love cultural outings! Specifically, anything art and contemporary art is my focus. But I will go to any event where I can learn something. My favorite friends are the ones who will call me in the afternoon to ask me to come to a lecture, exhibit, documentary, movie, restaurant outing that evening or the next day. From contemporary classical experimental music, to documentaries on Polish Jewish Socialism in Israel after WWII, I am game, lets play.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw the Western Wall in Jerusalem was a profoundly moving experience for me. I don't find the wall itself to be holy, but the fact that so many of my people and other pilgrims besides, have flocked there to pray to God, was deeply touching for me. I was also blown away by the Jamaa el Fna market in Marrakesh in Morocco. The open space, the food, the drum circles, the monkeys and the Mosques were truly a site to behold. To jump head first into a culture so entirely different to the one I was accustomed is an experience I will never forget.
