PHILOSOPHY

I try to live each day positively and positively affecting the world around me, seen and unseen. I believe that positive energy and optimism are contagious. I like sharing my smile and spirit with others.

I love a wide array of literature. I'm currently reading several children's books in French and a few books about soft power and foreign aid.

The last album I bought (yes, I buy my music) was Stromae.

I was in the Army as a broadcast journalist for seven years. I created a documentary in Iraq about the draw down and final year of our occupation.

I've covered major UN and NATO sponsored events throughout Europe.

I worked with the State Department as they established the new US Consulate in southern Iraq.

I am excited to move into my next phase of life, but am so very grateful for the experiences and opportunities the Army gave me.

In December, I spent a month in Ghana near Accra working with a micro-finance organization, and then backpacking and living in a village. I really loved it there and can't wait to go back.

Now studying in Paris is a great addition to the experiences I am collecting.

I love to share my passion for cooking with others. I believe in loving what you eat and put into your body. I put love into every meal I create.

I have the technical knowledge of photography, digital filmmaking and post production of photos, graphics, and video. I love meeting people to collaborate with.

I have recently started painting with water colors and acrylics.

I love to share yoga practices and want to learn more about the philosophies of yoga.
