We're a fun, easy going couple from Israel and Texas traveling through South America, enjoying good food, beautiful treks and meeting new friends.

While we do enjoy outdoor stuff like camping and hiking, we are also just as likely to spend a lazy day walking around, chilling out, eating snacks and watching Rick and Morty.

Basically, we're pretty simple people who like to enjoy life and make friends on the road.

We're on couchsurfing because we want to experience the places we travel to through a local point of view and not just the tourist way.

Ori plays guitar and piano and likes to cook and Jazmín loves music and eating, so it all works out!

Cooking and sharing tasty meals is one of the biggest ways we have fun on our travels, long conversations over dinner, dessert or beers.

Ori is a big outdoors guy and has traveled, trekked and hitched his way north up from tierra del fuego over the last 7 months. He's also good at making a halfway decent cocktail.

Jazmín (or "Haas") is more of a city girl at heart, who can spend hours in museums and coffee shops reading nerdy history books.

We're both huge music lovers and like discovering new bands, even in languages we don't speak.

Haas listens to mostly musica en español y portugues: Babasonicos, Zoe, Los Hermanos and Soda Stereo (Cerati por siempre!)

Ori likes mostly Israeli, American and British bands like - Garden City Movement, OneRepublic and Coldplay.

As far as movies and TV shows, we enjoy watching comedies like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Brooklyn-99 and The Big Lebowski. The Dude abides!

Awesome volcano in Pucón
And tons more stuff.

The highlight of Haas's trip so far was seeing Soda Stereo's Cirque du Soliel in Buenos Aires after waiting almost three years for it to debut.
