我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I just realized that the most fun times I had travelling were times when I could connect with the host and see the places I'm travelling in through local eyes.

While travelling I'm usually not too much of an "attractions" guy. I usually like to see what the locals are up to during their free time and to meet new people and see a different culture and way of life.
So usually I prefer walking around and seeing all the small details in a city rather than only seeing the impressive stuff (though that's great too). I'd likely be more impressed by a really cool piece of street art than the world's largest... I don't know... statue of a strawberry or something like that, if you catch my drift.
Also, if there's a good band in town, or a good gallery, or any event that goes on, that's something I'd love to go to.

Music-

Wow that's a bit of a problematic one... way way way too much music that I like to even start.
To begin my absolute favorite band are Cardiacs. They are a British band and they make bizarre pop. That's pretty much the best way to describe them :) . The rest of my tastes are all over the place: Jazz, Rock, Classical, Electronic, and full blown avant-garde and everything in between.
To summarize music is an obsession and has been for years and my taste keeps growing constantly all of the time.
