ABOUT ME

My friends call me Danny, I've moved to London where I work for Google after having had a 2 years off living in the USA in Colorado, in San Francisco and in Santiago Chile. Originally I grew up in Brussels to American and Spanish parents.

I LIVE to travel, there's nothing I love more. For years a relative in the airline industry got me uber cheap tickets, probably the best thing that's happened to me! I worked hard and exploited these benefits any time off I could, so I've visited all the continents except antartica and have almost racked up visits to about 50 countries. 6 Years ago I discovered Couchsurfing as a host in Bristol and I haven't looked back. Some surfers come and go, some leave life lessons with you and some remain your friend for years after; all have had good intentions.

During my time in London appart from Working for Google, I produce music, work as a photographer, talk on behalf of Wateraid, Dance (I'm dancing in the olympic closing ceremonies) and try and fill the little time remaining with what I call 'random club': a group of friends trying out random things for the fun of it.

In the fall I'll be moving to New York and on to another chapter!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have put up lots of CSers at my place in Bristol when I lived there. I've met some incredible people who have expanded my horizons while I attempted to show them the best my town has to offer. I also help spread the word bigging up CS everywhere I go!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences have been about the people who have stayed with me, from hitching across south america, to living in Afghanistan under USSR rule, they all have stories to tell. As for places I've stayed, they've blown me away. The warmth and how genuine the people are within this community astonishes me everytime I couchsurf somewhere new. Its incredible.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Everything from climbing peaks in China and passes in Patagonia to riding Camels or rivers across deserts in India or Vietnam, I've watched sunrise above Tibetan monestaries and sunsets above Mayan Temples. From the desert sands of the Namib to the cold Peaks of the Andes I've tried to see as much of the world as possible and am infinitly gratefull for every single chance I was given.
