ABOUT ME

I've been travelling for almost four years now after leaving the US to finish my University degree in Europe. I've lived in France and England and now I live in Barcelona. I spend my time trying to understand the world, trying to survive, and relaxing. I was born on a farm so mostly I'm enjoying living in different kinds of circumstances. The geography and climate of Barcelona is great. The Spanish are very friendly people. Lamentably the service in restaurants and shops is abysmal.

PHILOSOPHY

Be accountable for what you say and do. Have some principles. Allow for those principles to change. Allow for other people's principles to change. Reasoning and ethics are indistinguishable. Breath deep, open yourself and be a good friend.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, apartments are quite small in Barcelona and I have the unfortunate fate of moving quite frequently, occupying a single room at a time. However, I'm completely open to showing someone the city and having chat over tea and coffee, etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed once in Madrid over the last winter holiday. It was a good experience and now that I'm headed South for Semana Santa (Granada and Seville), I thought I'd give it another go.

I reported on a U.N. climate change conference in November (the one before Copenhagen here in Barcelona). That was very interesting!
