ABOUT ME

I'm 28 & have spent my life doing what I was supposed to do. Now I'm getting closer to 30 I've discovered I wasn't really living so I quit my job & left to travel the world. Currently loving the laid back vibe in NZ and always looking for new experiences & an opportunity to learn more about life & myself (even if it sometimes scares the be-jaysus outta me!)

To give it a try. Take a deep breath, count to five and go for it. Say yes to opportunities as often as you can - it's too easy to say no, and you often miss out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New at this, so haven't done much yet but I'm currently hosting my brother. I guess that comes with the territory of being a big sister though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on some uncomfortable couches but not through CS - mainly waking up after a few too many somewhere I hadn't planned on staying in the first place!

Interests

I tend to take things up, get really into them and drop them after a few weeks. This means I've done a lot - belly dancing, pole dancing, hip-hop dancing, zumba, aerobics, diving, climbing, hiking, hockey, karate, judo, kendo,brazilian ju-jitsu. I love to sleep but I hate going to bed. I love to dance, though I'm not very good!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a good crime caper and will always be a sucker for a good chick flick.
The Bourne's, the Ocean's trilogy, Fight Club, Lock Stock, Snatch.
I try to regularly read a classic book but am I sucker for an easy read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving the Great Barrier Reef, watching the sun set on the Uluru, seeing Ankor Wat, crying at the brutality of the Killing Fields, bungee jumping at Bloukrans, South Africa, going on Safari in South Africa
