About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experience as much while I can!
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. I was born and raised in Texas. I've had the opportunity to study abroad twice, which sparked a huge passion for traveling.
After graduating I worked out in the oil Service industry for almost 3 years out in Houston. I then took a hiatus and traveled South America solo for 7 months. I returned to Texas and am back living in Austin self-employed.
I love getting to know people with different perspectives, seeing new things, and appreciating both the beauty of uniqueness and the bond of similarity.
PHILOSOPHY
Have a goal for your life and pursue it. It does not have to be about "success". If you think life is about having fun, pursue that. If you think life is about accomplishing big things, pursue that. If you think life is about touching lives, go after that. But know what you want to do and you will bring peace of mind and certainty to your life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have tried it once in Munich, Germany, before making an account. It was a great experience, and the people were very nice and hospitable.
I recently was a guest, along with a friend, on two different occasions during the same road trip. Both hosts were very welcoming and nice.
Interests
In my spare time I like to: enjoy the city I live in (def harder during this pandemic); play a bit of video games; watching documentaries and videos to learn new topics and skills.
I usually like to learn more about things I'm not very familiar with (such as cultures, stories, scientific discoveries, global politics). I am really into Greco-Roman mythology and ancient cultures, and the nature of my job lets me go through many audiobooks and podcasts.
