Hi there!

I’m Osama but friends call me Osis, an easygoing traveler born and raised in Finland who loves exploring new places and meeting people along the way. I am a water and environmental engineer. Having a pause in my career I decided to go for an adventure. For me, traveling isn’t just about ticking sights off a list. It is about slowing down, sharing stories, and getting a real feel of the local life and culture.

I’ve spent 4 months backpacking around South America and 2 months traveling in Asia, and I also had the chance to live in Saitama, Japan as an exchange student for 6 months. Those experiences really opened my eyes to how diverse and fascinating the world is, and they left me with a big curiosity to keep learning about different cultures.

As a guest I’m attentive, polite, and respectful of people’s space and home. I enjoy trying local food, learning small everyday things, and just hanging out and connecting. My dream is to visit all the countries of the world and learn about different cultures of people.

Always happy to meet new people and share good moments, whether it’s exploring, cooking, partying, hiking or just chatting over a drink haha.
