About Me
Hi, I'm Osamu!
I run my own office in Asagaya, Tokyo, a neighborhood famous for its authentic food and local vibes.
I have a unique cultural background as a Japanese Korean. Growing up in Japan with Korean roots has given me an open-minded perspective and a deep interest in different cultures. I can speak some Korean as well as Japanese. I started Couchsurfing because I genuinely enjoy international exchange and want to connect with people from all walks of life.
Interests:
Golf: A long-time hobby that has taught me patience and focus.
Food Hopping: I love exploring hidden gems in the city, from traditional Izakayas to local street food.
What I can share with hosts:
I can share insights into both Japanese and Korean cultures, discuss business, or simply enjoy a great meal and a drink together. If you're interested in "deep" Tokyo or the stories behind my heritage, let’s have a talk!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've opened up my home space and enjoy meeting travelers from all over the world.
Interests
I love exploring different towns on foot and soaking up the local atmosphere. My favorite way to spend an evening is bar hopping near the station and meeting new people. I'm a huge foodie, so I’m always on the lookout for delicious local restaurants and hidden gems!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and can offer you a mix of authentic Korean and Japanese home-style meals. Since I have roots in both cultures, I enjoy preparing dishes that blend the best of both worlds. I’m happy to share my kitchen and stories with you over a warm, homemade dinner!
