Hello everyone!!

My name is Oscar, and I´m from Mexico city.

I started travelling when I was 20, because I met 3 colombian and 1 ecuadorian student that arrived to my university for an exchange. We have a lot of fun during their stay, so at the end of their permanency in Mexico, we decided to travel for 1 month between Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

After that, I started to searching optiontios about scholarships, because obviously I wanted to have my own exchange experience. Fortunately in autumn 2015, I won my scholarship to study in the city of Santiago de Chile during the last semester of 2015. Actually, it was the most amazing experience that I have had.

Now, before I obtain my engineer degree, I got another scholarship related to my thesis proyect, so I will realize a research stay in UK until final days of 2017; so before arrived there, I want to travel a little around Europe and in UK.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that all the people that have lent their homes just for one time to someone known or not, using this page or with recomendations like in my case, we begin to thinking different; because we start to try to see with the eyes of other one, the differents realitys that we live in the same places.

Interests

I'm interested in meet new people from all around the world, and understand how they live. Besides, I love travelling and walking.
