I’m a proud Chicagoan living and working in Vietnam/S. Korea as an IELTS teacher.

I spontaneously quit my job in 2014 and moved Chicago to Chiang Mai, Thailand. I went to Vietnam in 2015 to get trained as a teacher and later moved to S Korea.

Traveling to a new city is always 10x better when you arrive with local friends. The main reason I use Couchsurfing is because the cultural exchange you get with a person that lives locally is like no other.
