Hi, my name is Oscar. I am 21 years old and come from Stockholm in Sweden. I have always enjoyed traveling and honestly love everything about it. The food, the difference compared to home, the situations you have to adapt to and all the new experiences.

I am currently traveling to Asia and have now visited Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei and I am currently on Malaysian Borneo. I just got Couchsurfing after I got recommended it a couple of days ago by a guy a met. I am very excited to experience travel in another way.

I am travelling solo and I will be around in Malaysian Borneo until 24/3 and after that I go to the Philippines(and after that Japan, South Korea and will stay in Beijing a couple days as well). If you want to meet up and eat, hike, just walk around or anything else. Give me a message!:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people while travel and get local recommendations on places that are otherwise rarely visited. I also think it is really interesting to hear how life is in different parts of the world with everything from beliefs, what they value and what their opinion is on issues that sometimes can be very unilaterally thought about in some parts of the world and the reverse opinion can be main one in others. I also really like to hear about how living in different countries is and how it might be different between an expat and a local.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing a ski season in the Austrian Alpes. Living together with 60 other people, skiing during the day and partying and working in the nightclub in the night.
