Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe travel is about connection—not just with places, but with people. I’m here on Couchsurfing to meet kindred spirits, share stories, and exchange perspectives beyond the typical tourist experience. For me, staying with locals is a way to honor the heart of a place and its people.

Couchsurfing reminds me of why I travel: to stay curious, grounded, and open. I’m not looking for free accommodation—I’m here to connect, help out where I can, and be part of something more human.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most meaningful projects I’ve been building is a reforestation initiative in Costa Rica that uses drone technology to restore degraded jungle and farmland. We’re planting thousands of native trees in hard-to-reach areas, combining ecological knowledge with smart tech to help nature regenerate at scale.

It’s part of a larger vision I’m living into—creating spaces that honor the Earth, support biodiversity, and inspire a more balanced way of living. For me, it’s not just about planting trees—it’s about healing land, communities, and ourselves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Promise to host you anytime in Costa Rica, I have a beautiful house in the jungles overlooking at the ocean only 8 mins away from the beach in the South Pacific area called Uvita! Either I am there or my sister is so you would be welcome whenever. 😊 I have horses also in the land that are available for riding to the beach! I can also offer a guided breathwork or meditation
session, help cook or lend a hand with creative or practical projects around the house. For me, staying with someone is about mutual exchange—and I always aim to give more than I receive.
