Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend of mine told me about couchsurfing and I thought right away that I wanted to be part of it. The possibilities are andless and I love learning directly from people, wheater they are in my town or I am visiting their country or city.
When I go to another country there is an initial uneasyness of feeling out of place, because I am not familiar with my sorroundings, I have had people helping me before and it makes a huge difference. I belive if I can be that liason that bridges the gap for someone else's experience, their visit to my town would be that much enjoyable.

Music is easy for me as I keep it very simple. "Salsa"
Book list is so large but here are a few titles, Evolve your brain, The laws of thinking, Think and grow rich, The science of getting rich, The richest man in Babylon, The greatest salesman in the world, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Lust for life, The four agreements, Beyond fear, the mastery of love, and many more. I read a lot!!! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to three world cups (USA 94, Japan/Korea 02 and Germany 06) It was amazing to be part of such event.
I went to Barcelona in 05 and was in awe with all the Gaudi masterpieces. He is my favorite arquitect of all time and it was so unreal to be there in person having a glimpse of such inpresive brain.
Traveling in the Shinkansen line from Tokio to Fukoaka was very unique. It is unbelievable haw fast is the train traveling and you don't feel the speed inside the train, very interesting.
Visiting Prague my favorite city in the whole world was such a treat, walking across the Charles bridge and through the ancient downtown streets, riding the trolley and seeing such beautiful buildings everywhere is forever enbeded in my memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been learning much about health and fittness, also my experience in contructions is vast and can help others in understanding the process. I speak fluent Spanish (Native) and English and have been dancing salsa for almost 30 years.
I always enjoy learning other languages and cultures even if it is at a local level, Most countries are so different event inside themselves just a few miles away from town to town. In our similarities we also share our differences.
I hope to learn in the near future Portuguese, Russian, Italian, French and Japanese. Would love to meet peole who can teach me a little.
