I currently live in Montreal, originally from India. I decided to switch career this year, and started school as a mature student after working as a graphic designer for the last ten years.

I haven’t traveled through couch surfing as much since I have joined but I travel often to different cities for dances exchanges and have stayed with local dancers always. My exchanges have been very respectful and friendships continue to this day. Growing up (pre-couch surfing era) my family hosted many people visiting India from abroad through spiritual community we were part of.

I practice prioritizing connection with the land, the people, and myself. I am an intermediate Lindy hop, blues and fusion social dancer. I'd love to teach you as well if you're interested in partner dancing.

I enjoy walking aimlessly through a city, enjoying architecture, dogs, sounds of birds. I enjoy making visual art, water colouring, have done a small amount of mural work as well. To decompress I do journaling, and visual journaling.

I am a nerd for how we all commutate and understand things differently.

I am very new to Spanish language, and Mexican culture. I am around for a month or so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding. I had expected I would be terrified but it was the exact opposite, It felt so comfortable to fly through. Definitely something I would wanna learn in the near future.

Teach, Learn, Share

My background is in Graphic Design but I have some experience in Videography and Photography. I can share those skills with you and also some Swing or Fusion dancing if you feel up for it. Cooking together and sharing a meal is one of my favorite things to do.

I love animals, especially dogs and have some experience with training dogs as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my joy of dancing, philosophy, liberation, spirituality, social justice and intersection of it all. I am decent cook I have been told, love making Indian food, and spiced ginger CHAI that my parents make back home.
