ABOUT ME

I'm a graduate of economics that still wants get to know World better (ok - friends usually described me simply as "high person" ;) ) I'm interested in traveling (especially trekking), modern history, astronautics, and good books and movies. Currently I'm living in two cities simultaneously - Warsaw (where I studied&work now) and Wroclaw (where my family lives, and where I grew up), that gives me occasion to travel a lot ;) In my free time I love to discover new places, usually by bike (it's really great feeling when you realize, that you need only 10 minutes to get from your loud city center to a countryside-like place ;)) and hang up with friends, using every possible place that Warsaw nad Wroclaw may offer ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already gathered experience of being a host (and a guide to the city) and enjoyed being hosted by many truly wonderful people all across the Spain, Slovenia and Italy. However, I still find myself a beginning couchsurfer ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Whoa... Too long to fill;) Rock music (from "The King", through the Beatles and Rolling Stones, to U2, Blur and Arctic Monkeys), Blues (and Blues Brothers ;) ) classic music, song poetry (mainly polish singers, but also Vladimir Vysocki, Bob Dylan). and so on...
Movies - I like German movies (Good Bye Lenin, The Edukators, Head-On, The Lives of Others), have good fun by good comedy (no matter how old is it ;) ) and appreciate good historical movies (even "hollywoodish", like Private Ryan ;) )
Books... Science Fiction (Lem, P.H.Dick,R.Bradbury), humour (obviously-Pratchett), history and sensation. Connect it somehow and I would be busy for looong time, reading it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing highest (or one of highests) mountains of:

Hitchiking from Sevilla to Madrid in one day, as a VERY beginning hitchhiker.

I could tell you a lot about modern history of my city, country and whole post-communistic region. You won't find it in your workbook, I can ensure You ;) Furthermore, in summer time I could be your guide to Wroclaw, as I'm quite interested in this city.
