ABOUT ME

Couchsurfing has been such a positive platform to connect with new people while traveling or hosting. I’ve had countless memorable and sweet experiences since I joined the community in 2010. I love to Host people on my land in North Carolina as well as surf with others while I’m traveling. I Love hiking ,backpacking, camping, music, vegan food, cooking, art, people, music, yoga, water activities . I'm a full time musician (drummer) and Have a degree in forestry and love building trails. Some of the Bands I’ve played and toured with are Kishi Bashi, Indigo De Souza, The Dead Tounges, Scott Mcmicken ( Dr. Dog ) , Jon Stickley Trio, Mandolin Orange, Gator Pools ( w/ Avey Tare from Animal Collective) , Ahleuchatistas, Astoria, Mistresses, Pip the Pansy, Cicada Rhythm, Coconut Cake….

I am not a big party person and do not drink a lot. I do enjoy going out, seeing music or performance. Generally I lean towards healthy activities like Yoga, Hiking, Cooking healthy food, playing music or making tea and chilling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I strive to maintain a safe comfortable space for all if I am hosting or being hosted. I love to connect with new people and share my beautiful land with others. I am a very mindful person and do my best to make interactions easeful and relaxed. I am very independent and self sufficient and I deeply respect others space, time and energy. I also love to connect in whatever ways we have the space or time for and is in flow. I love to cook meals together, go hiking , biking, swimming and go exploring. I love to have our energy and generosity feel reciprocated somehow. I will gladly help with projects at your house or land or help you out however I can if I am a guest. I especially have experience with yard work, landscaping and land maintenance.

I have had so many great experiences in the world being so graciously shown true hospitality and kindness and getting a glimpse into different peoples lives, staying with new people and forming meaningful relationships in a short amount of time. It really is a huge honor to be welcomed into other peoples homes🙏

I want to offer my home as a space to create and share this kind of energy.

::::ALSO:::: I host people on a site called workaway which is a work trade for housing site.. very cool and what I am in need of at the moment on my land project.. so if you feel like offering help on the land I'd be really gracious of that ✌️
