I am a 34 years old, Kapiti Coast local who basically manages a motel up here during the weekend and then works in social media and promotions for radio stations over the week!

I have been based on the Kapiti Coast for 5 years. I have lived overseas in Melbourne for 5 years and also lived in Hong Kong (when I was much younger) for 12 years.

My flatmate introduced me to this website over 10 years ago and it was basically a great way for us to meet and host interesting people. I was curious to find out whether the site was still running and when I learned it was I decided to create a profile and try it out for a second time.

While I am not planning any major overseas travel in the near future, apart from a short trip to Hong Kong, I am interested to meet people who may be visiting the region. Running a motel is a peaceful activity, but can get boring at times, so it is always good to have someone to go and try out the local restaurants and cafes that have become very numerous in our region of Kapiti.

Although I manage a motel with 5 units, those units are unfortunately reserved for paying guests, so the most I can offer you is a couch! Hope that is ok!
