Architect, growing pomgrenades in the countryside, I am deputy of development association which advocates for social justice, I studied my whole life in french school in Tunisia before to become architect in Paris. Back home afterwards, I started a PhD in architecture of spaces of power, in parallel of my own working studio (ArchiMED). That's when I met a stuppendious girl which made discover the pleasure of travelling, meeting and making new friends...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always believed that we don't know a city if we don't share time with its inhabitants. Taking bus or car trips sharing, talkings with the café terrace neighbors and couch surfing are ways not to be the hotel stereotype of tourist that visits the prepared trips and follow strictly programs... When I went to Andorra and Italy during high school I lived with families, when I was studying in France I visited a lot of cities living in friends houses. I also accomodate often former school teachers and foreign professors colleagues at home to share our news and hang out... So couch surfing may also be a way to make new friends and meet also their friends...

Interests

I am mainly interested in sciences like history or astronomy, technolgies... I like much arts also such as movies or comics. Of course politics are also a favorite topic, notably when it comes to make strategies for a better good...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : pretty much everything, not kind of rejecting unknown...

Movies : more action, thriller, fantastic stories, like philosophical fictions but not really dramas.

Books : not very keen on novels, rather essays or albums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won a contest with partners for a political project funding which will drive us to meet local responsible and population in order to display municipality role and results above it's entrance door and then make its mediatic promotion on national scale.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is a Tunisian proverb which says : "maaraftek fennes knouz" which means : "your knowledge of people is the treasure of the world". Actually this may mean that we are all part of a bigger thing and it is by making itself idea about it, try to know what are the other's ideas, and debate about the commons and the differents that we may better qualify and reach the meaning of identity and alterity...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Except my cultural experience of Tunisia's landscapes, behaviors, food and stories ; I love talking about how the shape of nowadays' states is the same it was during middle age, how it maintains crisis and how another simplistic shape helps efficiency and sustainability of use of public wealth.
