CURRENT MISSION

To start third phase of my life. Phase out of my career and New York City, start major US road trip, then find new place to settle down (maybe Holland, where I was born & raised).

ABOUT ME

Career coming to an end, but I'm ready for the next one. Planning a major US road trip, probably starting early March. Have many themes in mind. Period open-ended - maybe 1 mo, maybe 3, maybe 12 - depends on how I like it. Free as a bird now. After that trip I may return to Europe, after decades in the U.S.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Try to be a positive influence in other people's lives. Don't blame others, find fault only in myself. Seek to always imnprove.

Some favorites: Dr. Strangelove, Pulp Fiction (and other Tarantino), North by Northwest (and other Hitchcock), Animal House, Michael Douglas. TV: House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, The Killing, Seinfeld, King of Queens, many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sometimes I am amazed by starngers who went way out of their way to help me when stranded without expecting or even accepting anyhting in return. This gives me faith and makes me examine myself.
