ENG: I am a guy from Estonia, who found an interest in travelling fairly recently. I went to Colombia in October 2021, where I spent my time volunteering, visiting lots of interesting places, and trying out new activities.
About my interests:
I have many hobbies, which I love equally, but if my friends had to pick one that they think describes me the best, it would be playing the piano. I’ve been practising it since I was seven years old.
I also like physical activity, especially cycling, because it makes me feel good and helps me clear my mind. I enjoy being out in nature, hiking and camping.
Although I like dancing and I have taken lessons in different schools, visiting nightclubs is something that I never do voluntarily or without there being a band whose concert I am interested in hearing :D

ESP: Soy un chico de Estonia, y encontré mi interés por viajar hace no mucho tiempo. Fuí a Colombia en Octubre de 2021 donde estaba trabajando como un voluntario, visitando a varios lugares interesantes, e intentando diferentes actividades nuevas para mi.
Sobre mís intereses:
Tengo pasatiempos diferentes que me gustan por igual, pero mis conocidos me reconocen como alguien que toca el piano. Lo he tocado por casi 20 años.
También me gustan los deportes al aire libre, por ejemplo ciclismo, porque me hacen sentir bien y ayudan a despejar mi mente.
Aunque me encanta bailar y lo he aprendido en diferentes escuelas, nunca disfruto ir al club. Si el infierno es algo así, no quiero terminar allí :D

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

ENG: I was introduced to Couchsurfing by my good friend, when I was staying in Medellín Colombia for 2 months. There I hosted several interesting people, and enjoyed spending time with them. Now I'm back home and I just got my own lovely apartment, so I am excited to start hosting again.

ESP: Una buena amiga me presentó Couchsurfing, cuando me quedé en Medellín, Colombia por 2 meses. Allí hospedé a varias personas interesantes, y disfruté su compañía. Ahora he regresado a mi hogar y acabo de conseguir mi propio apartamento, así que estoy muy emocionado por empezar a hospedar a la gente de nuevo, especialmente de América Latina 😀

音乐、电影和书籍

ENG: I like different styles of music, from jazz to rock, but my favourite by far is classical music. My favourite composers are Rachmaninov and Chopin.
My favourite author is Sam Harris. His views on free will, spirituality and morality (in a book called "The Moral Landscape") have influenced my worldview a lot.
My favourite TV series is HBO-s Chernobyl, which is a series of 5 episodes about truth and the cost of lies.

ESP: Me gustan diferentes géneros de música, desde jazz hasta rock, pero mi favorita es la música clásica. Mis compositores favoritos son Chopin y Rachmaninov.
Mi autor favorito es Sam Harris. Sus pensamientos sobre albedrío libre, espiritualidad y moralidad (en su libro “The Moral Landscape”) han influenciado mi concepción del mundo mucho.
Mi serie favorita de Televisión es Chernobyl (HBO), sobre la verdad y el costo de las mentiras.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

ENG: I volunteered for 8 weeks in Pamplona, Colombia, helping the Venezuelan refugees during their journey on foot to Colombia and other Latin-American countries. During that time I had plenty of good emotions, I felt being of much use to society and found many great friends.

ESP: Trabajé como un voluntario en Pamplona, Colombia, ayudando a los refugiados de Venezuela, durante su viaje caminando hasta Colombia y otros países de Latino-Améria. Durante este tiempo me sentía ser de mucha utilidad para la sociedad y encontré muchos amigos buenos.
