ABOUT ME

Hi folks, i must apologise for not contacting all the prospective surfers, i got myself into a real bad patch and now finally pulled myself out. It's been a long road but got there in the end. Well if you want to know about me, here I go: I been doing couchsurfing for a couple of years now, I was recommended to participate by a good friend of mine who is also a current member. I
wanted to do this as I like meeting different people from around the world. I am busy most of the time with work, however always make time for other people. I would like to show people that come and stay with me what our wonderful country has to offer. I'm a very friendly person, I live with my 20 yr old daughter here in Blenheim. I work hard for Precision Helicopters, an amazing job, when I'm not working I try to get up in the mountains hiking and climbing, down the beach or out in the sounds fishing and diving.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to live life to the full, we are not on this earth very long and there is no point sitting round watching the world pass us by. Some may say life is too short, on the grand scheme of things it is, however life is the longest thing you will ever experience, so don't sit there, get out and make the most of what you have.

My main interests are confined to the outdoors, hence my member name. I live for the outdoors, tramping, search and rescue, out in my boat fishing, diving, camping, pretty much anything in the outdoors.

I like to watch a variety of movies, from chic fics, (i have three teenage daughters)to adventure and action movies. I have been wrapped up in Clive Cussler and Lee Child novels lately and they are very hard to put down.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think the most amazing thing I have done was when I was called out for search and rescue to rescue a lady trapped high on a mountain with a broken ankle. It took about 13 hours from the time we left base till we got her back to base. It would rate as one of the most rewarding things I have participated in. I think it was put down as 1 of the countries longest stretcher carries for search and rescue.
I am hoping to do a massive walk for charity, walking acoss the south island over the mountains solo. If i can achieve this i will be the first person in history to walk the route i am taking.
