About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore Chicago and still manage to pay my rent

ABOUT ME

I just graduated college, moved to Chicago on a whim and now I'm starting to explore the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm living in a studio right now so I can't host anyone but I would definitely love to meet up with other surfers in Chicago or traveling through. Right Now I'm working kind of crazy hours but hopefully it will settle down soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My cousin Eric recommended this to me and he had (and is still having) a great time traveling around. I stayed with Asia in London and had a fantastic time. And I also helped plan the first Surf the Falls Niagara couch Crash. I've met some great people and would like to continue meeting great people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Omnivores Dilemma by Michael Pollan was an amazing book and I recommend it to everyone I meet. It revolutionized the way I look at food. Also Chuck Palahniuk is my favorite author. I listen to every kind of music and like all types of movies so I don't really have a favorite for those but I love getting suggestions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad in Limerick, Ireland and kayaked with the ULKC and it was terrifying and awesome at the same time. I also visited Edinburgh, Scotland and climbed Arthurs seat and felt so accomplished after getting all the way to the top and seeing that spectacular view. I also visited London and had a great time; I saw Avenue Q and ate a lot of great food.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm vegetarian so I could teach people about cooking vegetarian food. I'd like to learn guitar sometime even though I'm not great with instruments. I also taught myself to ride a bike when I was 20 so if you happen to not know how to ride a bike and want some tips I'm your gal.
