CURRENT MISSION

When I'm on my deathbed, I would like to be able to look back on my life and think,"H'm, at least I didn't waste time doing piles of ironing".....

PHILOSOPHY

I love the richness of life, and accept its complexity. I think I'm probably very influenced by the gospels, which I studied as a child. I try not to shy away from some of the harder things that need to be thought about. I want to leave the world a better place than I found it.

Interests

Art, landscape, vernacular buildings. Sailing. I used to have motorbikes. Smallholding, I keep chickens geese and sheep, and try to grow most of our own food. Social issues.....Going for walks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, yes. Baroque and classical, also blues and a lot of current African music. Classics from the sixties and early seventies, I still have lots of my old LPs, although my daughter has borrowed some.
Books, lots of nineteenth century novels, Russian, British, French, American. Lots of others too....
