I’m a student from Kazan city. I moved here from Izhevsk when I turned 18 to get an education. I make good friends in this city and I like to hang out with them.

There`s an stereotype that all developers are fat guys with glasses, who sits at home and play in PC games in their free time. So that`s not about me. I spend my free time in gym (but yes, my eyesight is poor and I use lenses).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanted to explore world since times I was a child. I watched different movies and I was delighted to understand that all places I saw are on our planet.

And now I have a chance to start! I`m going to visit US with W&T program this summer.

So I join CS and I want to meet interesting people around the world. To strike up new acquaintances and make new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen any kinds of music: from classical music to hard rock. But my dream is to visit Ed Sheeran concert anywhere abroad, cause he has no one in Russia.

Star Wars is the best franchise I’ve ever seen. Also my favorite films are Harry Potter and The King of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around 3 countries in 3 days with my classmates when I was 16. The countries we visited were Sweden, Finland and Estonia.

I gonna be web-developer (learning PHP). So I’m studying at the Kazan Federal University, at Higher School of Information Technologies and Information Systems. The specialty is software engineering.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Basic programming skills. Actually we learnt some programming languages: Java, C++ and PHP.

I can teach you how to swim in different styles. I was near to Candidate of Master of Sports in swimming.
