ABOUT ME

My name is Jesse William Merk, and I grew up on a farm in southeastern Indiana thirty minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio. I have four brothers who I'm very close with. I love people, traveling, and working hard for things I enjoy. I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2007 and I'm finishing up my Law Degree from Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky this year. I love everything that couch surfing is about and can't wait to join this community. PHILOSOPHY

I believe in humanity and have very much faith in it. I believe people generally try to do good, but sometimes get caught up in situations in which they struggle to find the best solution to their problem.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I'm new to couch surfing, and would like to get heavily involved. I love to travel, and I plan to stay on many couches. I will return my couch fortune with others by allowing as many people to stay on my couches as possible. I live right outside Cincinnati, Ohio and welcome anyone to come stay with me.

Interests

I love to socialize, and to be out and about finding new places to hang out and people to hang out with. I enjoy playing COD, finding slick deals, hanging out with my gf, and school.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read books about social psychology, especially books about why people buy certain things. My favorite authors are Malcolm Gladwell and John Grisam. I don't watch that much TV, but when it's I'm usually watching sports, cash cab, First 48, or something on the history channel. I love all types of music and going to concerts is one of my favorite things to do. Right now when people ask what my favorite movie is I usually reply Batman Begins, but that changes frequently usually depending on the most recent movie I have seen and can talk the most about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I shot a rocket propelled grenade launcher at a tank while I was in basic training in the army. It was an amazing experience that cost our country roughly seven thousand dollars.

Well I can teach you a great deal on finding good deals, and also if you are bored I can teach you about Law in the United States and why I love our criminal adversary system.
