Florian: I love climbing. I practice at the climbing wall called "Mur Mur" at Issy-les-Moulineaux, feel free to join me. My job is to map the world and I love it: I am an happy OpenStreetMap community member.
Also: improvisational theatre beginner, apprentice cook, diligent reader.

Isa: I love mojitos but only while well done in cocktails bars, yoga and (obviously!) travelling. Find out more about me on my own profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love exploring the World as much as discovering its people: we enjoy travelling and are both experienced couchsurfers.

While at home in Paris, we are very busy during the day, but enjoy the very Parisian way of living on the evening: we hang out with friends next to the Seine, have a drink in a bar, chill in parks... and above all good food!

Florian: I use CS since 2009: what a journey! I travelled with couchsurfers (not only at their flat) several times in various countries including England, Spain and France. Also I proudly introduced CS to my girlfriend! She enjoyed it quite often on her own.

Interests

Florian: I love extreme sports and would like to try them all.
During the summer I also use to hike. I practice slackline since 2010 and achieved my goal: walking between 2 mountains yeeeeaah (let's see one of my pictures): highlining is a pure shoot of adrenaline.

I map my travels within OpenStreetmap.org's project. OpenStreetmap has the same sharing spirit of CS : it's a collaborative project to create a free editable map of the world. So I always travel with a GPS and a camera :)

I also spend time being involved in web communities helping people, going out with friends, cooking ... and, recently, discovering wines with Isa!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During a climbing trip in the "Calanques" (next to Marseilles, South East of France) and as I was leading, we get lost at the mountaintop. We had to rappelling a 250 meters rock face in the night and sleep at the bottom with our survival blankets !
Since this day, I love even more danger and extreme sports ^^.
