ABOUT ME

Originally from Olympia, Washington, I currently live in Seattle, where I am attending the University of Washington's MBA program. After university in Portland I studied for a few years in Europe, first in Austria and then in England. I spent about a year traveling around Asia, too. I love meeting people of other nationalities and sharing what I can to make their travels more enjoyable and comfortable.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about being there - it's about participation. And, at the end of the day, it comes down to the people you spent that time with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A Brazilian Couch Surfing friend of mine told me she met a couch surfer who hosted so as to bring the traveling to him. I miss the company of other cultures... I'd love to have the traveling come to me if I can't be the one out there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From my own experiences traveling around Europe and staying with friends there I know that being in an unfamiliar place with someone who calls it home can make all the difference. I hope to be able to share my place with travelers looking for a comfortable spot to stay and hopefully share with them the things I like best about my city and region.

Music, running, and international affairs are three of my top interests, although work and study is gobbling up most of my time.

Pretty fan of going to the movies, and although I do enjoy a good book most of my reading these days is trying to stay on top of my Economist subscription.
