Overview
About Me
Washed up in Austria, like a piece of floatsam on the foreshore. Waiting for seasons to pass before I find my direction, vocation and passion.
In the meantime, I have found myself living in an ecovilliage/community/co-operative housing project outside of Graz. I moved here from the UK in October 2019. For now I make fresh bread and pizza and teach kids English in the local primary school to get by.
I was travelling in a van before settling in Austria. I also love to make long distance bike rides, I've cycled a lot across Europe and am also on the warmshowers platform.
My old profile is here - can't access it because CS put up a paywall for some countries: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/owen-bee
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Have always found couchsurfing a great filter to meeting good people. As interested to host travellers as to meet up with people nearby. I've had some great experiences staying with people whilst cycling, its nice to give back the love.
