About Me
I've been travelling now for nearly two months, starting in Toronto and working my way round.
I finished my degree in fine art this year. I'm having an adventure, expanding my possibilities and knowledge and personality, before I try and make the career work.
So I am very interested in the arts, and I'd like to explore them in other countries. I also really want to meet people, and experience similar but distinct cultures. I've also become a lot more active on this trip so if you want to try climbing, hiking, or something you think I won't have tried before, I'll gladly give it a shot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've co-hosted quite a few people in Brighton over the years and had a good experience, although I never got round to set up an account. But I found it to be a very giving sort of arrangement all round.
I hope couchsurfing might help me get beneath the initial, touristy layer of the city. I'm still happy to do the tourist stuff, of course, but in the last two months travelling I've very rarely got under the skin of a place. Hostels are great but they can be quite insular. I would love to meet people who really live there, make it work, and who get something from travel themselves. So they understand it.
Maybe we can help each other out a bit. Or when I settle I can return the favour.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Open conversation, good humour. I can sleep anywhere. I can do odd jobs.
