HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to catch up with a far-flung traveler wherever I happen to be. I'm unfortunately unable to host at the moment because of my housing situation, but give a shout and let's see what other mischief we can get up to!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Istanbul, Belgrade, Zagreb, and Paris while walking across Europe, and in several towns while walking across the American West. While living in Barcelona, I was able to hang out with and host some intrepid people from other parts of Europe and South America. I also stayed with Couchsurfers in Argentina and Chile during my walk across South America. Overall, I've met wonderful people and had a great time.

Interessen

Moving without motors, making things, surprises, singing. I like beech trees. I’ve never sat behind the steering wheel of a car, but you should see the mileage on my boots.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I'd rather do something well than do something amazing.

But it's amazing how cold water can be; how kind and cruel people can be; what the sky does before and after a storm; how the moon rises; and how a breaking wave feels when it pushes you down; and we keep going there.
