About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world in a grain of sand
ABOUT ME
When I'm in Melbourne I live in a big old share house, i ride my flimsy rusted bike to work each day and spend the evenings with friends. I search for the most obscure and interesting curiosities, events, art, junk. I like to think and talk of big ideas that I never seem act on.
When I travel I am on much the same quest. I like to make new friends and I like to find the road less traveled, or not traveled at all.
PHILOSOPHY
To never think I know anything and always need to know more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In England I was lucky enough to have a house where I hosted a few friends. Because I live in a big crazy share house in Melbourne there is always a lot of traffic and people coming and going from around the neighborhood and the world. We have a big Mongolian Yurt in the backyard as a makeshift guesthouse. When I'm home my door is always open.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Every experience I have had so far on CouchSurfing has been fantastic. The people I have meet have astounded me and it has always been so helpful to get some local perspective.
Interests
Junk, taxidermy art, tattooing, old things, creating unusual objects and drawing the things I cannot see, writing, horses, cats, leather, the smell of old books, riding, thriving, sewing little things, making lurid hats out of rubbish, thinking, phantasmagoria, long words, interpretative dancing and animals made out of plastic.
