I love spicy food, really sweet treats, and walking around and taking public transit in new cities. I enjoy the outdoors just as much as staying in and reading.

I will be starting PhD in fall 2024. Though I'm excited and am passionate about science and research, I'm hoping to live a little until then ;)

- Backpacked parts of southeast Asia
- Taught English in Taiwan
- Presented research with colleagues on Colonial Valley Zapotec at a conference in Oaxaca, Mexico
- Went to Seoul, Korea and stayed for 3 months on a whim
- Moved to Shanghai, China! <3
