About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To tiptoe through the tulips.

ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say that I am a fun lady, a great cook, and an interesting dancer.

PHILOSOPHY

Even on a bad day I try to find a bit of joy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right after I joined CS, I decided to move back in with my parents to save money. I sort of stopped using because it is not my couch to give, and my account went dormant and was deleted. I reset up this account because I will be visiting my sister this summer. She has become involved in CS. I might want to couchsurf with her, so then people would need to see my profile:)

Interests

I find people quite fascinating. I work with elementary school children and they are very are great because they haven't learned all the rules yet. They're more honest. I also really love getting in the outdoors, especially in areas that look different from where I have lived most of my life. I have recently been getting back into theater which I enjoyed as a child.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have been trying to go back to some classic authors that I hated in school. Most recently, I have returned to Steinbeck. Cannery Row was quite awesome. I am pretty open minded when it comes to music. I'd rather have a conversation about these things than list them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding my bike through the Avenue of the Giants. I was riding my bike down the Pacific Coast of the US and it had been quite hard. Then I had this amazing, long, beautiful day ending in a redwood forest. A lady gave me the most delicious apple I have ever tasted.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook and bake quite well. I would love to prepare a meal for any host if they can direct me to a market. I can share the mind tricks of climbing a hill on a bike while carrying 40lbs of stuff. I would like to learn anything. All the amazing older people I have met have never stopped learning.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, France, Italy, Montenegro, South Korea, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
