About us…

We are Oliver, Stephanie and baby Mia; a 42 year old Swiss musician , and a 33 year old female from Cape Town, South Africa where we currently live. We had a fated meeting in September 2014, and exactly one year later on the very same date - our beautiful baby girl was born. Now we are on a crazy unaffordable adventure, throwing caution to the wind and travelling across continents with our beautiful now 6 month old baby girl. Both of us have an inability to accept that travelling is not possible, and although we are currently operating on a single income, and a weak exchange rate for our South African rand, we choose to make possible what we can, and hope for the best about anything else.

We both believe that there has to be more than just a monotonous consumer life. Life has to  be lived, to be enjoyed, to be respected and not taken for granted. We have  a desire to see the world,  to see a sunset in a country that most people wouldn't find on a map. We want to hear and feel the heartbeat of a new city, to fall in love with the sights and sounds, tastes and smells of that unknown...to meet the locals and break bread with them while having conversations about things that matter most to us. We want to be amazed by the beauty of creation around the world...We want to always travel!

Although illegal, Oliver has climbed the pyramids in Giza, Egypt several times at 19 and a bit crazier than now. He'll never forget sitting there seeing the sunrise and hearing the sound of a hundred mosques.
