About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to rent a furnished room in Paris, and live there for the summer if not longer...

ABOUT ME

A quiet demeanor hides an adventurous and damn fun girl.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, but look forward to meeting all you couchsurfers out there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have un-officially couch-surfed all across the US - thank you to some very obliging friends who are also traveling and living all across the world.

Interests

My passions are my friends, family, and exploring the world. I've grown up traveling, and will never stop, although I hope to settle down in one city sometime in the next few years. I work in both the film and bar industries, so when I travel I love to explore the bar and restaurant culture, admire the residential architecture (old neighbourhoods with quiet streets are my favourite), and see what the region offers in cinema and festivals. Also a huge fan of art and photography museums, and seeing local music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films of Julio Medem, US Indies, films from my own region of Aust/NZ - big fan of films that come out of the Sundance and Berlin film festivals.

As for books - too much to mention! both quality fiction and non-fiction.

music- mainly alt country, indie rock, golden oldies (presley, cash), rockabilly, bluegrass.

Not so interested in electro or club music - but I managed a nightclub that played house and rnb for 4 years, so I can handle it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) driving along Lake Skadar and the the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro - possibly the most beautiful scenery in the world

2) working for the Sundance Film Festival in Utah and meeting the amazing people who make it happen, and the inspirational filmmakers who attend

3) being asked to be a godmother - and knowing I was responsible for a little man's life forever

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with English conversation! Or I love teaching children to draw and paint.

Or simply, I can tell you about the world that I have seen, and the best places to go.
