ABOUT ME

Where to start? I would describe myself as outgoing, willing to try anything once. I live to experience life to the fullest. I've swam with sharks in the ocean, jumped out of airplanes, navigated city streets on a motorcycle, and visited some really incredible places both here in the US and around the world!
In my spare time, I work on understanding how our bodies recognize and respond to things like viral infections and cancerous cells...hopefully one day, both of these things will be a thing of the past! I am humbled and excited to be part of the effort to make that day come around sooner than later.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the concept of meeting other like-minded people who want to travel. This will hopefully introduce me to new cultures, peoples, languages, foods, etc. We all live in the same house (Earth) so lets come out of our rooms and get to know each other!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very limited thus far, but hopefully as I host more people and couchsurf during my travels, I will have some awesome stories to post here.

scuba diving in iceland. yes, iceland has one of the best dive sites in the world...it's called the silfra fissure and it is literally breathtaking!
