My current mission:
I was in Prague in 1992 with my mom for only one day when we were doing the year rail pass to seven countries, and I’ve always wanted to return there to explore more, as well as other destinations in other countries!!
I haven’t been to Europe in 19 years, and I’m SO excited to have this opportunity to return~~ I started in Prague September 26, 2025 and will be in Europe until just before Christmas!
~~I’m traveling the world and making new friends along the way!

ABOUT ME
I am a custom decorative painter, painting murals and faux finishes, hand-painting and stenciling for the past 40 years. PeachPaints.com & PJstencils.com show some of my work in my online art galleries *
I have also been doing a lot of Petsitting all over the country. I am doing that in Europe as well~~ I was Catsitting 😻😻in Barcelona after Prague and Paris, until October 26, now Dogsitting in Ghent Belgium until November 9, then I have two pet sits in Bologna and Milan Italy! After that?! 🙃🍀

I love dancing and hiking and body boarding. I am friendly, respectful, caring, sensitive, thoughtful, kind, flexible, easy-going, quiet, frugal with utilities, artistic, and health-oriented. I have meditated twice a day for 28 years, and pets love to sit with me while I do this daily!
I have spent some of my winters living in a van on an exotic organic fruit and vegetable farm on the Big Island of Hawaii!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is such a cool way to connect with new people, learn from each other, and share stories about our travels and our life experiences.
I’ve had wonderful experiences couchsurfing in many states and have met people who will be life-long friends! I began on Couchsurfing in 2011 on my ‘First Adventure’, driving across the country to see family, friends, National Parks, museums, and scenic destinations! It was an incredible journey, and I've had some amazing and heartwarming experiences since then traveling to Costa Rica and Hawaii with some of my couchsurfing friends! We host many folks at OnoGardens in Hawaii.

Interests

My passions include body surfing / bodyboarding, Salsa and Bachata dancing, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, x-c skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, gardening, music (singing/playing piano), cooking/eating, people watching, travel, photography, watercolor painting, studying homeopathic medicine and other alternative forms of medicine and nutrition, doing TM meditation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During some challenging times in the past years, I have seen many small miracles that have amazed me and have given me hope and inspiration!
The most amazing outdoor adventure I've had was hiking 'Angel's Landing' in Zion National Park in 2012. It was mentally and physically challenging and I found it exhilarating to complete that 'knife-edge' cliff walk!
My favorite wild animal experience was swimming/snorkeling with a huge green sea turtle for an hour. We looked into each others' eyes many times, which was amazing... He was so graceful in the water; it looked like he was flying.

Teach, Learn, Share

I strive to help others heal with my extensive knowledge of alternative medicine, including nutrition, supplements, homeopathy, ozone treatments, etc...
My favorite 'volunteer work' is offering to take peoples' pictures at scenic locations, so that everyone in their family or group can be in the photo together. I've 'captured' people from all over the world this way :)
