About Me

September 2017: I moved to Budapest! Guests are welcome in my new flat as well, preferrably on the weeekend for the maximum fun :)

Don't believe CS! I reply to every single message, that is relevant :P And also sorry for my chaotic profile! I would feel bad for any information deleted. So you don't have to read all of it since it is like a virtual collection of info-trash. But at least it is better than collecting and keeping real trash.

I'm receiving so many (in percent) irrelevant CS requests. Please, surfers, prove that you are really want to be hosted by me. I don't care about mainly copy+paste messages, but at least include my name, and see where I live on the map. I'd gladly do a favor for anyone, because a lot of people did the same for me, but my home is not a hotel. I won't judge you based on a request, but it is the first impression.
PLEASE NO COUPLES! This is obviously my fault, but I don't host couples. I travelled to several places, maybe we can even say many, and 99% I did it alone. Alone, so I didn't have to make compromises what to do and what not to do. This might sound selfish, because it is. The 1% when I had a partner travelling with me was in 99% ruined because of not being able to agree. Same with my surfers.

So it is the best if you are:

- Alone
- with your best buddy, so noone gets mad after leaving him standing after a debate of what to do that day/night
- with a guy/girl you barely know, or met while on the road. you travel together but you are really not dependent from each other.
- if you are more than 2, please reconsider if you are really tourists or travellers. If you are tourists, go to a hostel.

CURRENT MISSION

Become EUROPEAN (so 2014)- West Europe Hitchhiking trip 2014 September-October-November

Balkans hitchhiking trip 2015 June

El Camino de Santiago 2015 July-August (Pamplona-Finisterre)

Italy 2015 August-September

2016-2017 MAY: I have spent two semesters abroad in PRague, Czech Republic, so I could not host nor surf on Couchsurfing, but I am back to my village in Hungary from June, so I would love to host people again!

2017 June: Receiving my Masters degree in International Relations. Come at me summer, and couchsurfers!!

Currently I am studying again on the university of my hometown, the subject is International Relations MA. I'm publishing, studying, and doing some student work as well. Also taking care of my animal army at home. (Mainly cats, but a dog, and chickens as well)

I'm organizing my next trip, which is always a thing, since when I come home from a journey, I instantly start to organize the next one! I am going to travel again in the winter.

ABOUT ME

I'm a young politican scientist from Hungary, living in the rural area on the northern coast of Lake Balaton. I am studying international relations MA from september in my hometown.
I'm spending my days with researching and reading. I would love to host even more of you as I did last year!
I like team sports, especially football and volleyball, and the main field I'm interested in, and also the theme of my thesis is the relation of punk rock and politics.

I'm really open minded, non-smoker and energetic. I have nothing against drugs, but I do oppose the government policy about it.

We have a small house with a huge garden and green area in a small village of 300 inhabitants next to the capital of the county(Veszprém, Veszprém) and to the popular holiday choice Balatonfüred.

I love to party in the summer and I usually cycle endless.distances when I feel to do that. I like our animals, cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens, and I also like the beauty of nature and our backyard.

I am green.
I don't waste anything. What is organic can be used. You don't throw away food or drinks if you are with me. Don't litter.

I am a supporter of equal rights.
I don't care if you are white, gay, trans or black etc.

I am tattoed.

It is not a problem if you don't share my principles, I would still gladly host you. But if you can't accept them, I wouldn't.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm liberal and tolerant with all the people I know, or I'll know. I respect minorities and I prefer individualism against collectivism.

I believe that anarchy doesn't always mean chaos, that it's the perfect harmony that is ruined by some people. I'm not religious, I'm with science, so actually I'm a naturalist and humanitarian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here, so people I host can feel at home, even when they are really far from home. You can do all the good things you would/could do at home, and maybe also unlearn the bad ones haha. If I accept you, you can be pretty sure I will share everything, my home, food, thoughts, friends and time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to host people from europe, or from all around the world, and I also want to be an active couch surfer in the future.(2013)

2015: Progress has been started. I loved to host and I only had great experiences while surfing. I met important people and close friends here.

2017: I hope I can be active again and contribute to the community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The days, weeks when I hosted were the best ones of my.summer. My guests were polite gangsters. I love to share everything I have, so I hosted while following this main principle. In my references you can see if it worked out or not. But ofc I am waiting for more people to experiment on.

When I was surfing I met a lot of people like me, and we broke a lot of walls between each other. I was compatible with kind.people.no matter if they were girls, asians, blacks or hindus.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm interested in books about politics, but I read the basic books I think I had to. When I'm not reading from the 1000 books you must read before you die list, I'm reading about punk rock, drugs or politics in any forms!
Favs: Harry Potter, George Orwell, Huxley, Song of Ice and Fire, Trainspotting, Greg Graffin,

I'm a big punk rock fan and more and more. I'm studying the history of punk rock from the aspects of a political scientist since 2011. I really don't like the modern pop music and it's globalized system. I'm an LA hardcore fan, my favourite bands are: Black Flag, Bad Religion, Dead Kennedys(now only Jello Biafra and the GSOM) Bad Brains, Crass, Rancid, Operation Ivy and a strange name on this list, but a true punk in fact: Manu Chao.

I don't watch too many movies, sometimes comedies when I'm really bored, or documentaries about politics or punk rock or football, or drugs. But being boring is a thing that didn't happen to me too often, I can't really remember that in the last 3-4 years. That's why I'm really bad with comedies as well.

I watch 1-2 series, because of their length. I can't really sit still for more than 30 minutes.
But: South Park, Family Guy and Game of Thrones

Favourites: Forrest Gump, Blank Generation

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Turkey for the first time. And then going back. And going again. Absolutely indescribable country. If you are turkish and need a place don't bother yourself with long messages, I have gotten so much from the people, I want to give it back.

Meeting random strangers and realizing they're the coolest guys I've ever met, and forming a bond that lasts forever.

Meeting a south african-german guy in the summer of 2014 and realizing we were looking for each other since we're born.

Watching Germany win the world cup.
Doing a tattoo of my beloved football club, Bayern Munich.

Visiting the snowy Transylvania every year, again and again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will share everything with you.

I'm enthusiastic about everything, because I'm a good learner. I want to learn about languages, history, politics,
Football, cultures, and YOU! You can tell me whatever you want, but the best is if we have common interests :)

What can I teach to you?

History of punk rock, and it's political aspects :D
I can teach you how to cook some traditional hungarian meals, and I can also teach you some hungarian words, the most important ones.
I can tell you about my opinion on politics and anarchy, and drugs.
That's just the surface.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you the hungarian cousine and teach you some of the most important hungarian words. I am expert in the history of punk rock, but this is really a field for only a several people. I'm a real history fan, I like to save years and events in my mind.

I read a lot so I like to talk about books! I love animals, I can take care of your pets, no matter what they are.

I can always share a good beer with anyone :P And if you are lucky I also have hungarian palinka with me!ű
