About Me

Text to me if you need to know something about Dublin or walk around. I always happy to join easy hikes or get to listen other lives stories

Hello everyone,

I came to Dublin for working as Social Worker. I had never expected to come, but here i am, trying to have amaizing memories to tell and share about this experience in Ireland.

I was living in Málaga before my arrival to Dublin, but I am from Santander (Cantabria) and I will always talk about visit that place and for sure I would like to be your guide there. I made my studies about Primary School Teacher there (and I went to Czech Republik for my Erasmus, in Ostrava), then I went to Granada where I studied Social Work. I was living in Granada during 3 years, so I know the whole city and it´s full of everything (i would like to share that info with you). The 4th year of my Social Work studies were half in Santa Clara (Cuba) were I learned a lot of life philosophy and met really clever people that I actually miss. Living in Santa Clara made me take life easier and deepper. The other half was in Málaga.

Málaga was an election for social compromises, were I mixed my studies with an interesting Community Development and Social Action association in Palma-Palmilla, where we developed a community orchard project in an occupied piece of land in a park. It was hard but i recieved a lot of knowledge and i began to understand my life in a better way. When finished my Social Work studies, I started Peace Culture Master and Conflicts and stayed in Málaga for one year more with the same project and another year when i start my PhD. studies about Social Movements and learnship links. University was not a cooperative enviroment for learning and the offer of comming here (Dublin) for work was a good opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in couchsurfing because i like to host (when every one in house is agree) and meet new people. It is always amaizing how fast and confidence human relationships can be. Also i have a carer behaviour so it is also about that an curiosity while listening different life stories.

I used to host lots of people in Granada (by CS or just friends of friends or CS people that visited once and we became friends so the always will have a house to visit) and i had really great moments, like when i hosted a friend in Cuba that i had hosted before in Granada.

I would like to be a visitor one day but i don´t know how to start.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not a book reader, for being honest, or i am just not concious when a read something because i work my curiosity so i have books that i never end because they gave me the feeling that i was looking for or there are stories that i don´t like to end in this moment of my life. So i don´t eat books, but when curiosity knows the door everything is possible.

About films it is quite the same thing, but i like animation ones, i think them engage well with my inside kid. I not good at horror films, because my imagination fly away and i am a bit apprehensive and very empathetic, so i will have in my mind the feelings that i percive.

For music i like all the song writers and i have moments for everything, music as reminders of different steps of my life, for different emotion, etc. Actually i am in love with the songs of Jorge Drexler and Spotity belongs to me....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing to highlight, being honest, that is very incredible.
