CURRENT MISSION

I found that my great passions in life, are to travel and to serve... I love travels that make you think, travels in which you are immerse by completely different cultures, people, food and traditions. I like to travel on foot, with a backpack, getting up close. That's how I feel I can take a part of the places I've been always with me, and also leave a bit of myself and my country wherever i go.
My other passion is service. I love to see I found what i did for other gave me such happiness, that I decided that would be a main goal in my life.

ABOUT ME

My name is Pablo Enrique Merizalde, everybody calls me Pique (not like the football player). I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia and I really love living there. I love traveling, specially meeting new people, I really enjoy making new friends and learning about them and their thoughts, life and experiences, while sharing mine as well. I have been living in Germany for the past semester, and now my current goal is to traveland get soaked in different cultures and experiences. I love to meet new people, go to new cities and to experience new things! Time is the currency of life, and I do the best I can to make every cent count!.

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy living life with what god has given me. I try not to worry for things that are not important, and look at the bright side of things.
I believe I am openminded, to new people, experiences, so that is what I think makes me so interested in being part of this couchsurfing community.
I believe that peace of mind is the most important thing to live happily.
