ABOUT ME

I am a musician, a music therapist, a teacher and a traveler...I'm fascinated by the diversity of the world and have a semi-nomadic soul (I also like sometimes to stay in places for long periods of time if I'm living, studying or building something special) . I consider Rio to be my home base to where I always return to along with Santiago (Chile) where I was born. Currently I've been traveling for almost 6 years (so I'm not in Rio most of the time). It's my second long wandering (the first one was from 1999 to 2002)... although I do stop and come back often to India and Bali...already 70 countries, thousands of stories and millions of notes played... Funny I've not used couchsurfing much so far but hey, always good to have this choice, specially in places where I don't know anyone or I haven't played yet:) I bring my music with me or maybe it's right to say that my music takes me... along with my love for life and the desire of adding to peace and understanding in this world we live in.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I truly believe that the capacity of sharing, overcoming individualism and old constructed fears will save our species. I have my gifts to share and I live simply yet freely. In life the natural thing to do is to exchange with others. Knowledge, thoughts, dreams, beauty, work, action.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Sooo many... Music: specially Brazilian, Classical, Indian Classical, Progressive Rock, Jazz, Gamelan, folk and traditional stuff, etcetcetc.... movies from Bollywood to European Art-Cinema to great Latin American films to alternative Hollywood to experimental stuff... Books also so many, specially about philosoph(ies) and religions and in literature there's so much good stuff... yet most people don't know it but Latin American literature kicks ass big time!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I'm amazed and thankful for being healthy and for every single day I can live in this earth... I have followed my heart since I've been conscious of myself. I have traveled the world so much... met thousands of amazing people, done all sorts of stuff for the experience... so life is quite an amazing thing most everyday and I love to tell stories as I play music...but of course in person is better!:)
